Here’s the environmental challenge of the week- Tell the federal government to put our public waters before Big Oil’s profits! Big Oil is cashing in on the coronavirus crisis. Right now, it’s pushing for a dirty fossil fuel project off the Texas Gulf Coast — while the country’s attention is on a national pandemic. The Sea Port Oil Terminal would include 168 miles of pipelines. The project would permanently alter fragile wetlands and threaten wildlife and communities in the surrounding area.
