General Assembly

Every year Unitarian Universalists gather at General Assembly (GA). While the location for this meeting changes annually, due to the current COVID-19 restrictions across the US, this year’s GA will be 100% virtual, held June 24-28.

For many it is a tradition. It is a celebration of our faith, a time to examine and debate new policy, a time for governance, and an experience for leadership development. Anyone can register to attend GA. For the governance aspects of GA, each congregation is allowed to send delegates to vote on behalf of the church; our church is allowed 7 delegates.

If you are interested in serving as a delegate, please reach out to Tracy Spinka-Doms, our Board president at tracys@firstuuwilm.org by May 3, 2020. Delegates get affirmed at the congregational meeting in May.
