Environmental July Challenge- Learn About Project Drawdown

Every month, the Environmental Justice Task Force (EJTF) challenges you to make a change that will directly help the environment. This month, we are asking you to learn about the main contributors of climate change by visiting the Project Drawdown website, here.
“Drawdown” is “the future point in time when levels of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere stop climbing and start to steadily decline. This is the point when we begin the process of stopping further climate change and averting potentially catastrophic warming. It is a critical turning point for life on Earth.”
Project Drawdown has made a list of the top solutions that you can do to help combat climate change here (Click on “Scenario 1” TWICE to get the list from most to least impactful solutions).
Don’t have time to study this website? Watch this 8+ minute video of our member, Maisie Donohue, giving a talk at Indivisible Highlands for the Environmental Summit this past February where she talks about the solutions here. Quick tip- many of the main solutions focus on your diet!
