With sadness, we announce the death of long-term member, Don Stitz who died on Thursday, September 10.
Don was born January 16, 1937. He was a chemical engineer and worked for Hercules his entire career. He and Marge moved to Wilmington in 1979 and became members of First Unitarian Church. Their three daughters were all married in the church by three different UU ministers Robert Doss, Kathie Thomas, and Patrick O’Neill. We extend our care and concern to Don’s wife, Marge, and daughters Margo, Kristin, and Jill.
A memorial service will be held at the DuPont Country Club on Thursday, October 8 at 11:00 a.m. with safety precautions in place. All are welcome to attend. His obituary is available, here.
