New HVAC Unit Installed in Education Wing

Our church has many HVAC systems, from our boilers in the basement, which serve the older sections of the building, to a variety of rooftop units in the newer sections of the church. The Building and Grounds team and staff coordinate with our service contractor to maintain these units and keep our building comfortable and safe.

This fall, we were advised that one of the units installed when we built the education wing needed major repairs at major cost. The unit had been installed in 1996, so we decided to replace it rather than repair it. The unit was near the end of its useful life.

It was an exciting day this week when the cranes arrived and the new unit was installed. Here are a few photos of the operation:
