Every month, the Environmental Justice Task Force (EJTF) challenges you to make a change that will directly impact the environment.
In this month and the months that follow, we are asking you to engage with some of the actions and mindsets presented in our recent book discussions of The Future We Choose. The book, authored by architects of the 2015 Paris agreement, Christiana Figueres and Tom Rivett-Carnac, opens with a look at the world we are creating followed by a contrasting future we must create.
To embrace a new intentional direction for surviving the climate crisis they describe three mindsets needed for a clearer, stronger foundation for our intention. These include: stubborn optimism, endless abundance, and radical regeneration.
This section of the book is followed by ten actions and we’d like to include the greater congregation as we look to the future.
