We celebrate that First Unitarian member, Antonia Bell-Delgado, was welcomed into Preliminary Fellowship last week! Antonia interviewed with the Ministerial Fellowship Committee of the Unitarian Universalist Association where they affirmed xer skills and readiness for professional ministry. This interview represents the culmination of years of hard work, study, and reflection. Antonia will be ordained in 2021 by three participating congregations: First Unitarian (xer home church), Unitarian Universalist Congregation at Montclair, NJ (xer teaching congregation), and Church of the Larger Fellowship (site of xer Senior Learning Fellowship). Information will be forthcoming. In the meantime, we celebrate this milestone for Antonia, for First Unitarian, and for Unitarian Universalism and we express our deep gratitude that we are part of Antonia’s journey!
