The Ugly Quilts Group

The Ugly Quilts Group at St. Paul’s Methodist Church turns household items into sleeping bags for the homeless. The group was featured on WHYY in December. They use sheets, old blankets, large pieces of fabric, shower curtains, t-shirts and towels to make the sleeping bags. Men’s neckties are needed for these bed rolls. Neckties are used to secure the bags once they are completed. Any necktie will do! A little tattered on the edge, a stain or two? No problem! Any necktie will work. If you have neckties to clear out of your closet, please consider giving them to Ugly Quilts. They will be repurposed for a good cause. Our Knitting and Craft Group has decided to support this project. Since our church is temporarily closed, pick-up can be arranged by sending an email to Donnafeldman155@gmail.com. Include a phone number where I can reach you to arrange a pick-up.
Thanks for your donation,
Jackie Feldman
