First Unitarian Church – Resilience and Commitment

Next Sunday, March 7, we celebrate the resilience of our community during our multi-generational Whole Church Worship service. That service also marks the start of our annual stewardship campaign, when we begin looking forward to the coming church year. Our theme for stewardship for 2021-2022 will center on our resilient church, our ongoing commitment to support our community, and the many ways we make, keep and rely on our connections to one another during these difficult times.

Starting next Sunday, and continuing through March 21, we will have pledge commitment forms available online. Letters and commitment forms will also be mailed to all households. Check your mailboxes and/or the weekly Enews for details, starting March 5. As we did last year, we will ask for your financial pledge and ask you to tell us how you will participate in the life of our congregation next year. Take a few moments to consider your connections with First Unitarian. Share your thoughts, hopes and intentions for the coming church year. How will you continue to nurture those connections?

So much is uncertain about the future. And we know we are a strong, resilient community committed to each other and this church. While we may not know exactly what church will look like in 2021-2022, we do know we will be here, together, for each other.
