As happens every year, Unitarian Universalists will join together at General Assembly (GA) and, once again, due to the pandemic, we will meet virtually June 23-27, 2021. The theme of this year’s assembly is Circle ‘Round for Justice – Healing – Courage.
For many, it’s an opportunity to worship and connect with the broader UU community, as well as make new friends and renew old acquaintances. It inspires and encourages participants to celebrate our faith and renew our commitment to live our mission. It’s also forum to share experiences and ideas and discuss and debate new policies for the Association, which are voted on by Assembly delegates.
Anyone can register and attend, and the virtual agenda and schedule make it easier than ever to be part of this important gathering. For the governance aspects of GA, each congregation is allowed to send delegates to vote on behalf of the church; our church is allowed 7 delegates.

If you’re interested in serving as a delegate, please reach out to Board Co-Presidents Leslie Dickerson, Lad724@gmail.com, or Travis Laster, TravisL@firstuuwilm.org.
Delegates will be affirmed at our annual meeting on Sunday, May 16, 2021.
