Thanks to the wonderful generosity of the First U folks who dodged the rain showers to bring us their donations, we were able to collect over 100 items to go into the New Apartment Kits for the youth aging out of foster care. Because of your kind and caring contributions to this project, a dozen young people will benefit as we put together essential items in a “basket.” Every year ILYA packs up essentials for the youth and every year you answer our call so generously. This year we were especially pleased to include electric fans to the mix. As well as a few toaster ovens and microwaves. It was an outstanding event.
