As summer draws to a close, it is once again time to sign up for a Small Group , even if you participated in the past year. We have two kinds of Small Group Ministry: Connection Circles and Soul Matters. Our September Soul Matters theme is “Embracing Possibility” – such an appropriate theme as we begin a new year and a new ministry with Rev. Larry Peers. When you sign up, if none of the current groups works with your schedule, please let us know on the form what might work for you and if you are willing to lead a new group.

Small Group Ministry is a form of shared ministry that encourages spiritual growth and the development of deep and substantive relationships. Small Group Ministry meets our needs for belonging (intimacy) and meaning (ultimacy). It builds friendships and provides opportunities to talk with others about the big questions of life. Small groups are designed to enrich our community with the sort of conversation and attentiveness that can be difficult in the busy life of a congregation. A small group experience nurtures each person’s spiritual growth, empowering them to live their lives with intention and authenticity.
