On Sunday, November 14th, our special collection will be to fund our annual efforts for the Emmanuel Dining Room (EDR). Please consider giving to this long-standing (almost 40 years!) project of our church. This once-a-year collection provides First U’s annual budget for grocery supplies, to feed lunch to over 200 men, women, and children in Wilmington every month. The annual costs for this program are $2,400, or $1/person/month. Quite a bargain for a wonderful hot meal for those in need in our community. The entire First U EDR team and the staff at EDR are deeply appreciative of your support, and wish you a wonderful Thanksgiving season.
