The Delaware Coalition to Dismantle the New Jim Crow (DCDNJC) continues to advocate for reducing systemic racism in Delaware. While the Covid Pandemic has eliminated our monthly meetings in-person, we are still in a number of ways. We have lobbied to reform the state laws governing incarceration, expungement of prior offences, more openness of police discipline for improper conduct, and bail reform. We are actively promoting the Delaware Poor People’s Campaign and environmental justice issues. We have partnered with Delaware Opera and the New Light Theater to promote their efforts to use the arts to combat racism in our state. We use our limited finances to give grants to other agencies that are also working to make this state more equitable for Black and Brown people. We hope that you will want to join us in supporting all that we do to eliminate systemic racism. For more information, click here.
