Virtual Cafés in January and February

This Sunday, January 30th, we will have a Virtual Café immediately after the service. The format of this Zoom meeting will be a thirty-minute mixer intended to provide a traditional coffee hour-like experience. The Zoom meeting itself will be a continuation of Sunday’s Service which will also be on Zoom.

Look for our worship and Virtual Café link which will be provided via email – if you have not signed up for remote livestream worship links, please click here.

On February 6, members of our Human Rights Task Force (HRTF) will host an engaging Virtual Café on Heather McGee’s book The Sum of Us: What Racism Costs Everyone and How We Can Prosper Together. In the book, McGee’s historical account of racism in America demonstrates how we all lose out and also provides hope for how working together benefits all of us. The HRTF is facilitating a series of book groups this winter and spring to talk about the book. This Virtual Café is intended for everyone. You do not need to have read the book to enjoy the Café, and afterwards, you may be inspired to register for a Sum of Us Book Group.
