YWCA Stand Against Racism Challenge

Have you been participating in the YWCA’s Stand Against Racism 21 Day Challenge this year? It’s been enlightening and interesting to learn about critical race theory, the living wage, and racism/bias in the media. The final week (4/25 – 5/4) is about women’s health. There is so much thought-provoking information!

It’s NOT too late to get started! Click here to register.

This year, you can participate on an App – which makes it really easy to engage with the material. You can read articles while you are waiting in line or grabbing a snack. You can listen to the pod-casts while you are driving, walking, or working out. It’s so easy!
If you have participated in this year’s YWCA 21 Day Challenge, we invite you to attend our next Human Rights Task Force meeting on May 8 at 6:30 p.m. by Zoom. Click here to register for our HRTF Meeting on May 8

We will spend time talking about the Challenge materials that surprised us, disturbed us, or that we appreciated the most. Your thoughts and feelings will help create a lively and informative discussion.

Brought to you by the Human Rights Task Force (HRTF). Questions or comments, please contact Becky Laster at blaster102@verizon.net
