As happens every year, our fiscal year comes to an end on June 30 and we are cleaning up loose ends in the office. Here are a few things to think about which will help us wrap up the current year, July 2021-June 2022.
Is your pledge for the current year paid in full? You can call Chrissy in the church office, 302-478-2384, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. weekdays, or email her at chrissy@firstuuwilm.org if you have questions about the status of your pledge.
Giving statements went out at the end of April which covered donations through March 31 – you can compare your giving record to make sure that all your donations were properly accounted for.
Our last banking day will be June 30 so all donations for the current year should be in our office by June 28 to allow for processing. The mail has been slower lately so please allow for possible mail delay.
Electronic donations can be executed up to June 30, although there is usually a one business day delay so we recommend not waiting until the last day.
We can accept donations after June 30. We allocate them to the previous year’s account. Just be sure to indicate which fiscal year your donation covers.
If you use our electronic giving system, don’t forget to update your authorization so that your donations continue for the next year. All authorizations for pledge donations for FY 21/22 will end automatically as of 6/30/22. Click here to learn more.
