“We Are Weaving Our Lives: Our Ingathering Sunday”
and Water Communion
Rev. Dr. Larry Peers, preaching
Join us for this annual Ingathering Sunday, as we come together to recommit ourselves to being part of a “beloved community that nourishes minds and spirits, fights injustice, and transforms the world through loving action.” We will have our “gathering of the waters” ritual. Bring water–from near or far, from home or away from home–as we honor the merging streams of our lives. Children are invited to attend with their families for the first part of the service, before proceeding to their activities.
**followed by Outdoor coffee hour at 11:30 a.m.**
Children are invited to create art, play games, and have fun together after they are sung out of the worship service. We will get messy and possibly wet. Feel free to send an extra set of clothes just in case. Childcare is available for newborns – three years old.
Let us know your children are participating or you want to volunteer. Youth, Parents, and Adults are all encouraged to work with our youngest members!
