Get Out the Vote (GOTV) Postcard Campaign for the 2022 Mid-Term Elections

*Important Reminder: If you took postcards home from the Re-Emergence Summer Camp to write – make sure to write and mail these cards by October 1. Please don’t forget! If you weren’t able to complete what you took with you, please concact Becky Laster at blaster102@verizon.net or 302 750 8524.

We have about 60 more addresses to write and send to Virginia! Postcards to Virginia are to be mailed by October 1st, so we have GOT to get these done THIS WEEK!

We will write together again at church on Sunday, September 25 following worship. If you haven’t written a single postcard yet, THIS is your chance! There is no excuse not to join us and no prior experience needed.  It’s an easy action to take to support our democracy.

UUDAN has partnered again with Reclaim Our Vote (ROV) to Get Out the Vote (GOTV) in southern states where voter suppression has disenfranchised many people, especially black and brown people, from voting.  There will be more campaigns in October to Georgia and North Carolina – so we WILL KEEP on WRITING – because VOTING MATTERS!
