“Tis the Season” First Unitarian Church Goods & Services Auction – Online December 4 – 10, 2022

First Unitarian Church Goods & Services Auction is nearing the closing!!

Help us reach our goal.

Only 1 day left to get your bids in – bidding closes tomorrow, Saturday, December 10 at 8:00 p.m.!

Our goal this year is to raise $12,000 to help support First U. With donations of goods and services valuing over $13,000 in total, our goal is achievable with your participation.

We have amazing arts and crafts by our own members, signed, numbered prints by Andrew Wyeth, bountiful baskets of fun and cheer for you and your pets, delicious delights perfect for the holidays. We have excursions to the theater, concerts, amazing gardens, and hikes in the beautiful local countryside. We have gift cards galore for your gift giving pleasure (or to use for yourself!) and member created meals to tempt your palate. And then, there are services, offered by members and the community – imagine a soothing massage after this busy season, a chance to improve your golf game in time for spring, loving babysitting for a night out, tarot card and palm reading, a way to convert your slides, videos, pictures to digital, and so much more!! This is the perfect time to buy for someone you love (including yourself!) and support First Unitarian Church at the same time.

Haven’t registered yet? Check out our auction page on the First U website here, where you can find the latest printable catalog and Auction Guidelines and Online Instructions.

Need help with those final bids or want a final look at items in person? Our auction display is still up, so come check it out one last time. We will have members at church on Saturday, December 10th, in the Parish Hall from 12:00 – 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. to help if you still need it. Please bring your smartphone or laptop if you can. If you prefer, we can bid for you if you sign a proxy form and supply a credit card.

Then come to church on Sunday, December 11th for a celebration, raffle, and Youth bake sale after worship, where you can pick up tangible items you have won!

Many thanks to all our donors and bidders for your generosity,

Linda Sanders, on behalf of your Auction Team
