The Environmental Justice Task Force has been busy planning many events for Earth Day Weekend. Please mark your calendars now!

Saturday April 22nd at 10:00 a.m.– Join us at Talley Day Park for an Earth Day Park Clean up. In addition to picking up trash, we also plan to remove invasive species and plant a few trees.
Sunday, April 23rd Dr. Dave Donohue will be our guest speaker for the Sunday 10:30 a.m. service. His talk will be “Mother Earth Needs U! How to Heed Her Call”. This is a church service not to be missed!
Sunday night, April 23rd at 5:30 p.m. – We will be hosting a free Earth Day Dinner open to the public. This community event celebrates Earth Day and teaches the community about how their diet impacts our environment. It also is a universal meal, meaning that it is designed to be inclusive to everyone, as it has no animal products, dairy, gluten, or many foods that can cause allergic reactions. More info to come on how you can help at this event or just come and enjoy a free meal!
