Housing Advocacy Begins with YOU!

There is a housing crisis in Delaware and we must act! Affordable housing is critical to well-being. Housing provides stability to maintain jobs, raise children, care for aging parents, and feel safe and secure. Too many Delawareans struggle with housing insecurity.

Join us to advocate for more affordable housing in Delaware. Thursday, May 11: 11:45 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Housing Advocacy Training Webinar (begins at 12 noon); First Unitarian – Room 25*

*Enter through the side office doors, not the back child care center. Sign-in at the church office and pick up a visitor’s pass to go up the Room 25.

Bring your lunch and attend this event with other UU’s interested in housing advocacy. We will listen together to the Housing Alliance Delaware webinar which will provide information about the legislation to address Delaware’s affordable housing crisis. We will also learn about ways to engage with our legislators at the Day for Housing on May 18.

Thursday, May 18: 10:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.: Day for Housing Advocacy in Dover
