Are you interested in joining with others from First Unitarian of Wilmington to attend the 2023 Universalist Convocation at the UUs of Mount Airy, at 6900 Stenton Ave. in Philadelphia? Join Rev. Dr. Larry Peers as we gather for at least these portions of this Convocation. You must register ($25) using the link below. Also, please let Rev. The Saturday workshops include:

• 11:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Dr. Dan McKanan, “From Moral Injury to Reparations: What’s Love God to Do with It.” Dr. Dan McKanan serves as the Ralph Waldo Emerson Unitarian Universalist Senior Lecturer at Harvard Divinity School, where he has taught since 2008. He studies religious and spiritual movements for social transformation in the United States and beyond, with particular emphasis on environmental activism, intentional communities, and socialism.

• 1:30 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. “Conversations with authors Kathy Baxter and Reggie Harris. Kathy Baxter, author of “In the Shadow of the Hanging Tree,” a memoir reading and discussion.
