Thank you to everyone who has helped us with weeding so far this month!

Calling volunteers to weed our wonderful First U grounds. Come anytime at your convenience or join the weed team on Sat. May 13th 10:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m.

Areas in need of attention include:

First U Sign on Concord Pike – remove purple thistle and other weeds
Memorial Garden – remove thistle and other weeds.
Outdoor Sanctuary – remove weeds and grass inside wire cages at base of trees in field between 202 and Church

Hints: Weeding is most efficient after rainfall. Wear gloves to protect from thistle thorns, dig up roots with a tool as much as possible. Slide wire tree rounds up the green stakes to make room to dig weeds from inside the cages, then push back in place.
