Is there a group that holds a special place in your heart? Do you want to offer your friends at First Unitarian Church the opportunity to support a local community non-profit that you love? If so, please send your nomination to marina@firstuuwilm.org with your name, charity contact info, and a brief summary of the work they do by May 31, 2023. You can also mail your request to the church office. The Executive Team will evaluate the nominees and will contact you to let you know if your submission has been approved. *In FY 23/24, we will begin special offerings on the first Sunday in September and then continue on the first Sunday of the month, a change from our previous second Sunday schedule.  We have also changed the name of our special offerings to “Share the Plate” offerings. We will not Share the Plate in November 2023 so as not to conflict with Guest at your Table. We will also not Share the  Plate in February 2024 during our annual operating budget pledge campaign.

The following Special Offerings are “pre-approved” and included as part of the budget. If you lead a committee that works with those groups, please email Marina@firstuuwilm.org with your first and second choice of months for your Share the Plate schedule.
