We are sad to report that Wendy McMullen passed away on July 27, 2023 while in hospice and after a four-year struggle with cancer. Wendy was a relatively new member of our congregation, having joined about the same time as her cancer diagnosis. A member of our Pastoral Care Team, Lydia Robb, was in regular contact with her during these four years of treatment.

Lydia Robb writes: “Wendy lived to attend both her nephew and niece’s weddings, and her great-nephew was born just days before her death. It had been her goal to at least know he entered the world with her middle name and she did get to see photos. Wendy was a dedicated hospice nurse committed to her patients. She had a delightful sense of humor and many interests. No obituary or service is planned. I believe she was 68 years old.”
