Helping Native Plants Thrive in Talley Day Park: Saturday October 14th at 10:00 a.m.
Please join us October 14th at Talley Day Park for a Peace Day Park Cleanup! We will be learning about native and invasive plants from Leah Brooks, a certified Delaware Master Naturalist and and avid eco-gardener, who will help us identify invasive plants that are not peaceful to our community. We will work together to remove the invasive species so that our native friends can flourish. Meet by the dog park in the back of the park. We’ll have trash bags, water, and snacks. Please bring gardening gloves, and if you have them, clippers to cut back the invasive plants growing in the park. Bring your family and help make Talley Day Park look beautiful! No rain date.
