On Sunday, September 24, 2023, you are invited to bring art that reflects on the Soul Matters theme of Welcome. We will display the art in the Parish Hall during coffee hour, and then you can take your art home with you. For your inspiration, here are some art prompts from the Creativity Matters guide:

o  Paint/draw/color what it feels like to be welcomed in (and NOT welcomed in). It usually helps to keep your pieces abstract.
o  Welcome and home are deeply intertwined. One artist that gets this is Fritz Haeg. He invites us to make a rag rug out of old and discarded cloth materials       or clothes around our home. Click here for his instructions.
o  In the spirit of openness and welcoming, give Artificial Intelligence art a try this month! There is a free and fairly easy to use program called Craiyon.                Here’s the link to it. Be patient. It takes a bit of time to get the hang of what words to use to instruct it. But here’s a guide to help you with instructions.
