High Holy Days Shabbat Service September 22

With Jewish High Holy Days approaching, join UUs for Jewish Awareness (UUJA) for a special High Holy Days Shabbat Service on Friday, 9/22 (8:00 p.m. EDT, 7:00 p.m. CDT, 5:00 p.m. PDT). Rev. Marti Keller will provide a meaningful message for us all. Register here.

UUA’s Common Read for 2023-2024: UUJA will host a Book Discussion in October/November about On Repentance and Repair: Making Amends in an Unapologetic World by Rabbi Danya Ruttenberg. Stay tuned for these dates!

At General Assembly 2023, Rev. Alison Miller presented a moving Shabbat sermon about On Repentance and Repair. Click here to watch this Shabbat service.

UUJA also presented our workshop “The Spiritual Practice of Mussar” at GA which drew over 100 attendees and generated a lot of buzz about these teachings on values and character traits. This video will soon be available from UUA.

We also announced this year’s Jerry and Denny Davidoff Sermon Award about antisemitism to Rev. Charlotte Arsenault entitled “Tale as Old as Time.” Click here to watch this sermon.
