Housing and Justice in Delaware: How Can We Make a Difference?

Sunday, November 19, 2023: 12:00-1:30 p.m.

Rabbi Sonya Starr: First Unitarian Church

Registration Required

This educational workshop will be presented by Rabbi Sonya Starr of the Housing Alliance Delaware, who says, “As people of faith, we are taught to live our faith into our daily life, to walk our ethics and morals into our mundane life, to infuse every mundane decision with a spiritual intent. What can be more mundane than where we sleep at night, the shower we take for granted, or the food in our pantry?”

This workshop is open to all as part of the Faith & Housing Justice weekend when faith communities across the state will learn and pray about housing instability and homelessness. Learn more about the housing situation in Delaware and what you can do to advocate for this ever-increasingly significant concern.

You must pre-register. Please indicate on your registration form whether you are bringing your own lunch or want also to have a light lunch of soup and bread. Register at this link.
