Faith Whittington and Rev. Maire Durkan in Brunner Chapel – Registration Required

Mothers’ Night is a celebration of our female ancestors of blood and spirit including non-biological mothers. Rev. Durkan will also explain and light the Sunwait candles, a Heathen and Norse pagan Winter Solstice tradition.

As part of preparing for this, learn as much as you can about your matrilineal line so that you can list your mother, her mother, her mother etc. as far back as you’re able to discover. This is for both men and women who want to celebrate their Mothers and the Winter Solstice.

Bring the list with you, you will get to acknowledge these Mothers’ as part of the ritual.
