ILYA Holiday Giving Thank You!

The ILYA Holiday Gift Project team would like to extend a huge and sincere thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered your time, assembled and wrapped gifts and helped with writing holiday greeting cards. With the help of so many, our gift package was finally bundled in the parish hall on December 9, first in a crisp cellophane bag then a custom made ILYA bag and delivered to 102 recipiants in Kent and New Castle counties. The outpouring of support from our congregation was simply phenomenal. Special thanks to our ILYA support team -Barbara Crowell, Kathie Stamm and Charlotte Grabau. We could not have done it without all of you.

The Holiday Giving project is just one of ILYA’s nine social justice programs supporting young adults (18-23 years old) aging out of foster care. Our goal for the New Year is to continue the work to make a positive difference in the lives of these young adults to help them achieve a fulfilling, successful adulthood and connection to a caring community. To donate or learn more about our other programs, please visit our web site at Independent Living for Young Adults .

Along with our heartfelt thanks, we would like to extend the warmest of wishes to you and your loved ones for a peaceful, wonderful holiday and a very happy and healthy New Year.
