2024-2025 Stewardship Drive

As of February 19, our total pledge results are $284,919 or 52% of out goal.

Your pledge supports our operating budget for 2024-2025 so that First Unitarian can continue to thrive and serve our community.                                      Our Strategic Plan gives us a pathway for our future –  we invite you to be a part of it all!

Please submit your pledge today!

Or, on Sunday, February 25, please visit the Stewardship Table to make your pledge.

The Strategic Plan for 2023-2028 includes:

— Becoming a congregation that serves more families with children:
Your pledge donations support our paid staff members who direct programs that promote religious and ethical development of our children in an accepting, nurturing, and fun environment.  Please see the video link below with more information about the program.
— Offering rich opportunities for adult education & spiritual growth to our members and the wider community:
Your gifts help to pay for our Lifestream programs including guest presenters and staff members who administer these programs. Lifestream@First Unitarian offers opportunities for newcomers and long term members to find connection and enrichment.
— Use modern technology to improve outreach and connections:
This year, we transitioned to new church management software, which brings us added functionality for connection and donation processing. Your pledge supports the cost of improved software tools and the staff members to manage it.
Paid ads on Facebook and other social media help bring attention to our congregation.
Increase income and financial sustainability:
Your pledge payments allow us to provide an attractive, clean and safe facility for renters, improving our ability to generate income from parties, community groups and more.  An increase in your pledge this year will help us replenish our reserves, including reserves to cover unexpected expenses in the future.
Reduce carbon footprint:
Financial support from you will help us replace the roof on the old education wing so we can add additional solar panels and reduce our carbon footprint.
If we have enough pledge income, we can add to our maintenance reserve and, when needed, replace our HVAC systems with more efficient equipment.

Our members support First Unitarian because they love our community and the work we do. On Sunday, February 18, Jaquee Lukawski spoke about our Children’s Religious Exploration program:

Whether you are a member or a friend of our congregation, we appreciate your ongoing commitment to who we are and who we are becoming.  Wondering how much to pledge? You can check out the Unitarian Universalist Association’s Giving Guide at this link.
