Next Steps in Ministerial Search

The Board and a few volunteers will be calling each voting member to have a conversation about the search committee. This is an opportunity for members to engage in the process and reflect on the qualities needed for a search committee member.

The Board will tally the submissions and prepare a slate of nominees, based upon diversity and number of nominations an individual receives. Ideally, we will want to have 7 members which are diverse in age, gender, tenure, and areas of life within the congregation. Our goal is to have the slate of nominees ready to present to the congregation at the Annual Meeting May 19th.    

After completion of the phone calls, forms will be available on line, in Parish Hall or by calling the church office. When submitting names, you could also let the individual know and check if they would be willing to serve, if asked.
