First Unitarian Church donates the offering on the second Sunday of most months (starting First Sunday in fiscal year 2023-2024) to a worthy organization in our community or in our Unitarian Universalist family. We have given away as much as $24,000 in some years through these offerings and other special projects. You will find the names of the recipients each month in the weekly ENews before the service. Each spring, the Executive Team reviews recommendations for recipients and approves a list of organizations. To recommend an organization, send an email to officemgr@firstuuwilm.org during the month of May. Include the name of the organization, a brief description, link to their web site, and your contact information. Decisions are made in June each year for the following fiscal year that starts in July.
