The Governance Committee helps the Board work more effectively. As part of its policies, the Board establishes a Governance Committee that is responsible for enabling the Board to continually strive for and achieve greater clarity, efficiency, and productivity in its work and policies. Its duties include maintaining accurate job descriptions for the Board, leading an annual training session for all trustees, facilitating an annual review of the Board covenant, organizing the Board’s annual evaluation of itself, and other appropriate process monitoring and improvement initiatives.
