Sunday, March 8, 2020 – 10:30 a.m. – “International Gender Equity” – Bruce Knotts, Director of the Unitarian Universalist United Nations Office

As we celebrate International Women’s Day, we will hear about women who have made a difference in the world. How is our Unitarian Universalist faith calling us to advocate for those people who have been disenfranchised due to biases regarding sexual orientation, gender identity, and race? This Sunday is our monthly share-the-plate Sunday and we will give and receive an offering to support the Unitarian Universalist United Nations Office, in support of their work to influence the United Nations. This Sunday is also the start of Daylight Savings; be sure to “spring ahead” so you will be on time for our 10:30 a.m. worship service. Our musical guests will be Anne Turner and Susan Ryan.
