Last summer Rev. Roberta started a very irregular sermon series based on the work of UU theologian James Luther Adams. Adams named five characteristics that define the core strengths of Unitarian Universalism. The first three sermons, delivered last spring and summer, covered the first three: affirming that revelation is continuous, that all relations need to rest on mutual and free consent, and the requirement that we create just and loving communities. This sermon will focus on the belief that to be effective we must embrace and use the power of organization.
