This service is a bit of gratitude and fare well, a bit anticipation and celebration. It is my last service as your temporary contract minister – your “minister for now.” Our service will close with Flower Communion, a ceremony created by the Rev. Norbert Capek, founder of the Unitarian Movement in Czechoslovakia in 1921 and minister of the church in Prague until his arrest by the Gestapo in 1942. If possible, please have a flower with you, wherever you are when you attend this service.
Join us for a Coffee Chat following the service as we say fare well to Rev. Tracey. This is her final service with us. Worship will be on both Zoom and YouTube this week.
The June 20th service will be another trial of a live service using Zoom and also being streamed to YouTube. The usual remote service email will be sent the day before. It will contain the two options: the link to open a Zoom meeting and a link to the service on the First Unitarian YouTube channel. You choose your preferred method. However, to avoid multiple “chat” conversations, all “chat” will happen only in Zoom. The YouTube chat will be disabled this week.
Timing:
Zoom: 10:10 a.m. meeting opens for informal chatting
Zoom and YouTube: 10:25 a.m. the informational slides will begin.
At an informal Coffee Chat after the service on Zoom, we will say farewell, live, to Rev. Tracey.
Note: There will be no informational slides at the end of the service.
