Being loving isn’t always taking the easy or comfortable path. Sometimes the most loving – for ourselves or for another – means engaging in difficult or sometimes painful activities. Part of the reason we come together in community is so that we can give and receive a love of accountability, a love of challenge, a love of growth and a love of support. Our faith compels us to be open to both giving and receiving hard, difficult but nonetheless caring truths.
