Sunday, September 24, 2023 – 10:30 a.m. – “Days of Awe as an Inner Journey” – Rev. Dr. Larry Peers

Whatever our background or religious identity, on this Yom Kippur, we will seek the universal message within the Jewish High Holidays. In what ways, can these “Days of Awe” inform our own personal journeys and our own conscious awakening within life—each day. Rabbi Alan Lew’s perspectives from This is Real and You Are Completely Unprepared inspires this service. Rabbi Lew writes: “This is the journey the soul takes to transform itself and to evolve, the journey from boredom to staleness—from deadness-to renewal. It is on the course of this journey that…we express the paradoxical miracle of our own being and the infinite power of simply being present, simply being who we are.”
