Deb was married to her husband (Gregory) at First UU by Rev. Doss in 1973. They had the privilege of joining 1st UU in 1992. She has served on the Fine Arts Committee, the Board and the Membership committee in the past.  Deb taught Art at an elementary school in Wilmington for ten years after completing her MFA (1992) in Textiles. Deb participates in Circle Suppers, a small group circle and the Women’s Spirituality Group. Deb has also begun to work with the church’s Outreach Committee and as of next month, Deb will complete her term as chair of the Pastoral Care Team. First Unitarian Church is now, and will be, her spiritual home in the future.  She feels free to explore different religions. Deb wishes to stretch herself beyond her comfort zone in a challenging community of seekers.
