Doyle Dobbins

Doyle Dobbins has been a member of First Unitarian Church since 1973, over forty-five years. During these years he’s been active in the Church in many different programs, participated in many committees and task forces, and served two terms on the Board. However, his greatest long-term interest has been in supporting the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee (UUSC). He also serves on the UUSC Stewardship Circle Planning Committee.
His priority is to help ensure that our Church remains healthy, hospitable, and a supporter of social justice. In addition:
• Doyle completed seminary in the 1960s, and soon after, became a Unitarian.
• His vocation/profession for forty-one years was in Vocational Rehabilitation with the State of Delaware and private service organizations.
• He is married to Beverley Baxter. They have three sons, three daughters-in-law, and seven grandkids.
