Lois Morris was told 17 years ago during a conversation with a friend that she was a Unitarian to which she answered, “What’s a Unitarian?” Doing some research, she learned that indeed she was and joined the First Unitarian Church of Philadelphia while living there. Upon moving to Wilmington DE, she decided just to visit First Unitarian Church of Wilmington with every intention of returning to Philadelphia to worship. She found the congregation here so warm and welcoming that this became her church home in 2005. Since then she’s been very active with ILYA (Independent Living for Young Adults) and now leads that social justice team. She has also volunteered with the nursery for CRE and participates in the Friday night pot-luck dinners.
