Rev. Nancy McDonald Ladd serves as Senior Minister at the River Road Unitarian Universalist Congregation in Bethesda, Maryland. She has pastored and preached to congregations throughout Maryland, Virginia and Illinois during 14 years of parish ministry. Committed to building diverse and effective movements for change, she’s a national and local leader in the Industrial Areas Foundation. With a longstanding curiosity about the intersections of idealism, utopianism, and liberal religion, she’s finishing up her first book on the subject with Skinner House Press. She lives in Bethesda with two sage-like small children, a spouse who loves church and a badly-behaved cat.
