Richard is married to Nancy Flanagan and they are the parents of boy-girl 24 year- old twins, Bailey and Davis. Richard and Nancy began attending First U 25+ years ago seeking a religious community that fit their values and beliefs, and in which they wanted to raise their children. In addition to serving on the Board and membership committee for three years each, Richard’s involvement in the church has been primarily through active attendance, teaching Sunday school, and participating in community service and church events.
