Tonia and her family joined First U as members in 2015. Before moving to Delaware, Tonia attended services at UU churches in Florida for over 15 years. Tonia is a social worker (MSW) who has devoted her career to working with the most challenging and diversely in-need populations. Currently, Tonia works as a systems based victim advocate with victims of violent crime. Tonia is attending Meadville Lombard Theological School where she is studying to earn her Masters of Divinity. Tonia has also completed the first preparatory stage of becoming a UU minister by obtaining Aspirant status through the Unitarian Universalist Association’s Ministerial Fellowship Commission.
